Russ Allen, M.A.
Russ is the creator of “The Work of Redemption.” He holds a B.A. from Dickinson College and M.A. from Liberty University where he graduated with high distinction, majoring in early American religious history. Russ is currently enrolled in Liberty’s Doctor of Education program with an emphasis on curriculum and instruction. In addition, he an editor for the research journal Fidei et Veritatis and a student fellow with Liberty’s Center for Apologetics and Cultural Engagement. Some of Russ’s published academic works can be found in Faith and the Academy, The House Divided blog, Bound Away: The Liberty Journal of History, and The Way of Improvement Leads Home blog. Russ is currently writing a chapter for the upcoming book Jonathan Edwards and the Dark Side of the Enlightenment (Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht) as part of Yale University’s “New Directions in Jonathan Edwards” series. His Master’s thesis, titled “Holy Children are Happy Children: Jonathan Edwards and Puritan Childhood,” is located in Yale University’s Jonathan Edwards Center and is available for download on ProQuest.
